About Us

On East Campbell Street in Blairsville, Lodge 406 has been doing something simple and rare: keeping a clean, calm space where members and their guests can relax without the noise and chaos of a typical bar. Reviewers consistently call it out, the cold beer is cold, the room is tidy, and the crowd is the kind that actually talks to you. That reputation does not happen by accident.

Founded as part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 406 carries a mission that runs deeper than the bar tab. Members fund scholarships for local students, support veterans, and organize community events that put money and volunteer hours back into Blairsville, PA. The lodge hall hosts dinners, fundraisers, and gatherings that have marked milestones for families across Indiana County for generations.

This is a members-only club, but guests are always welcome when signed in by a member. If you have been thinking about joining, the process is straightforward and the people inside will make you feel at home from your first visit.

What We Offer

Lodge 406 keeps a full-service bar stocked with cold drafts, domestic bottles, and mixed drinks at prices that remind you this is a club, not a nightclub. The atmosphere is low-key and genuinely social, the kind of place where a quiet Tuesday night can turn into a two-hour conversation you did not plan on having.

Beyond the bar, the lodge offers a banquet and event hall available for member-sponsored functions, holiday parties, and community fundraisers. The space is a working hall with room for seated dinners and catered events. Members also gain access to Elks National reciprocal privileges, meaning your card opens doors at lodges across the country.

Civic programs round out the membership experience. Lodge 406 actively supports the Elks National Foundation scholarship program, youth activities, and local veterans initiatives, so dues go further than just keeping the lights on.

"I went to the Elks with a friend who is a member. He, of course, had to sign me in. Everyone there was friendly. It's your typical bar, nothing extraordinary. It was nice and calm, unlike some bars that have younger patrons there acting like idiots. I'd go back, if invited."

"Would not be my choice to have a function. I realize what the hall is normally used for I found that it was very cluttered and dirty. It appeared be have been no effort to make a clean space for Life Screening and I'm sure they were paid a fee for use of the hall."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
